About the Chicago Fireman’s Association Credit Union
At the Chicago Fireman’s Association Credit Union, we strive to deliver the best possible services to Chicago Firefighters and Paramedics while complying with State Rules and Regulations.
We are a non-profit member-owned and controlled financial institution. Our mission is to provide you with the opportunity to establish financial stability by offering share accounts and loans for all of your needs.
To become a member with us, you must be in good standing with Local 2. We also accept Illinois IAFF Locals, and Associated Firefighters of Illinois. We are now accepting membership applications from the staff of the Fire Annuity and Local 2.
Dividends are paid semi-annually (rates fluctuate with the market). We offer payroll deduction for savings up to $500 dollars a month and loan payment.
The Chicago Fireman’s Association was chartered in 1938. Our Board of Directors consist of 9 members. We are operated by an office staff that has been working here for over 20+ years and fellow firefighters and paramedics.
